October 30th is SBA 1st Quarter Soaring Eagle Awards. These awards recognize the students and staff members who SOAR! SOAR stands for Safety, Ownership, Acceptance and Respect. Parents of our 1st Quarter SOAR-ING EAGLES have been notified.
Monday October 26th: Wear red to support being drug free.
Tuesday October 27th: Wear exercise clothes.
Wednesday October 28th: Wear SBA spirit wear, gold or blue.
Thursday October 29th: Wear superhero clothes.
Friday October 30th: Put drugs to sleep by wearing pajamas.

Our Fall Bingo Night will include FREE Bingo games, light concessions, and a parade for students who choose to wear their costumes.

October 9th. Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue brought the Fire Safety House to SBA. 3rd grade had the opportunity to talk about house fire safety and what it is like to safely escape from a house. Thanks to SF Fire and Rescue!
October 8th & 9th. Delta Dental came to teach our SBA Eagles proper dental hygiene. Every student got a toothbrush and toothpaste to take home! Students also got a free dental screening. Big thank you to Delta Dental and Mrs. Jill!

Students brought a conference time slip home on Friday, Oct. 2nd. If you did not receive it, please call the school to confirm your scheduled conference time.
Mrs. Sundall works in partnership with teachers to keep student learning at the heart of the work. Through co-planning, co-teaching, looking at student evidence, reflecting, and learning alongside one another, she helps strengthen instruction and impact student learning. We are so grateful to have Mrs. Sundall at SBA!
